What is Claim It
Claim It lets anyone send crypto to a social handle on any chain. If the recipient isn't signed up yet, funds sit safely in escrow until they link the matching social account.
Sending crypto
Open the Send sheet, pick a chain, choose either a wallet address or a social handle (X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook), enter an amount, and confirm.
- Address mode delivers instantly on Tier 1 chains.
- Handle mode delivers instantly if the recipient is already linked, otherwise funds are held in escrow.
- MAX reserves a small buffer for network fees on native-asset sends.
Social handles
Handles are case-insensitive and normalized to a URL-safe slug. Spaces become dashes: @Claim It → @claim-it. Share links use the slug.
Escrow & claiming
When you send to an unlinked handle, we mint a fresh keypair per (social, handle, chain-family) and encrypt it server-side. Funds land at that escrow address.
The recipient claims by signing up and linking the matching social account. Only that verified provider can sweep those funds — no impersonation possible.
Supported chains
Live sends: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, OP Mainnet, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Robinhood Chain, Solana. Read-only balances on 30+ additional EVM networks. Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Litecoin balances are live; sends are rolling out.
Security
Custodial private keys are AES-256-GCM encrypted with a server-only key that never touches the browser. Decryption happens only inside authenticated server functions scoped to your user id, and every self-reveal is audit-logged.
Fees
Claim It doesn't charge a fee to send. You pay only the network's gas or fee-per-byte, deducted from the source chain.
Token launches
Every supported chain has a launch flow with an IPFS-pinned metadata step, initial buy, and creator-fee recipient. Solana launches broadcast immediately; EVM launches roll out per chain.
FAQ
Do I need a wallet? No. Sign up with email or a social and we provision a wallet for every chain.
Can I export keys? Yes — from Profile, use Reveal Key with a 5-second countdown. Audit-logged.
What if the recipient never claims? Funds stay in escrow indefinitely. You can see pending sends in your Feed.
